| Angostura bitters | 2 dashes |
| Sugar | 1 cube |
| Water | 1 dash |
| cherry | 1 |
| orange | 1 twist |
Place sugar cube in old fashioned glass and saturate with bitters, add a dash of plain water. Muddle until dissolved. Fill the glass with ice cubes and add bourbon. Garnish with orange twist, and a cocktail cherry.
